Dear Typepad,

Please fix your post creating interface thingy. You know the thing I type my blog into that allows it to be posted on my website. It used to work very nicely. Now since you've changed it looks a lot cooler but it's useless. It's slow, it doesn't respond to me quickly, please fix this one or go back to the old one.

Thank you!

Monday Relfections on Wednesday

* Great Sunday....really great!! ( I know that not proper English)
* The worship was incredible!!
* Our setup and tear down teams are amazing!!
* I love being a Dad!!
* We gave away Rockstar energy drinks to everyone and we gave away a grill to one Dad - that was a lot of fun!
* Tried to go eat at Bridges, which is one of my favorite Italian places, but they had one waitress for the whole restaurant - who made the schedule for that day? Not very smart!!
*Sunday evening Tammie wanted me to rent whatever I wanted and we would watch it together. I got Rambo: First Blood Part II - amazing!!
* She stayed awake for the whole thing - great wife!!
* We went downtown Sunday afternoon and walked around, got ice cream and window shopped. I love the downtown area!
* I love to hear the stories of life change in our church!
* Can't wait to start our next series called OUTLAWS - just saw the design work for it - by far my favorite up to this point.
* God is really stretching me right now in a good way, but it's kicking my tail and that's not fun - but I need it!!
* Some really cool things planned for this fall!!

4 Years and Counting

Limo pic_1 Four years ago this past Thursday Tammie and I committed our lives and love to one another. It has been the most amazing four years. She is an amazing women and I am so blessed to be the one she chose.

For our anniversary we went to Williamsburg which was a blast. Cool town, good food, and a ghost tour. Now that was an experience. I told Tammie I thought the tour guide was smokin what she was selling.

In Indy

Jeremy and I flew into Indy yesterday afternoon for a panel discussion I was a part of with the Missional Network Gathering, which is a part of the SBC. I had a great time, seemed to go by really fast. I enjoyed connecting with the other guys on the panel that I had been watching from a distance. Kerry, Brian and Shawn are awesome guys and are being used in the kingdom in some incredible ways.

Also, got to see Indiana Jones - I got to be honest weird is the only word that comes to mind - especially the ending. Weird, really weird.

Tim, who is the Pastor of Genesis at West Ridge came with Brian - check out his take the evening here - funny!

If you are going to be in Indianapolis on June 9th make plans to attend the Missional Network Dinner which is a apart of the Southern Baptist Convention's Annual Meeting. I have been asked to be a part of a discussion panel along with Kerry Shook, Brian Bloye, and Shawn Lovejoy. I plan on spending most of my time being quiet and learning a lot!

Monday Relfections (quick hits)

I am about to leave the house to spend the day with the family at Lake Anna.

* Powerful day yesterday!
* We had a n ice cream truck outside waiting for everyone as they left - it even played the old school music like when we were kids. Nice way to kick off a sunny Memorial Day weekend.
* The worship was intense - I am loving the new song How He Loves.
* We strew out blow up instruments during the closing song. You had to be there - it was tons of FUN!
* Next week is going to be one of those weeks you don't want to miss. It's also our last Sunday at Parkside.
* We have the greatest volunteers in the world!
* We had a ton of people sign up yesterday to start volunteering who currently are not volunteering. Super excited about that!
* Gotta run!
